Save Time and Effort: No, You’re Not Lazy… You’re Efficient

How many times have you looked at the clock, realized you haven’t had a meal yet today, walked over to the refrigerator and found nothing to eat? I’ve been there… and I’m sure you have too. What we end up doing is eating something that isn’t exactly on our list of healthy food choices, but we eat it out of sheer convenience and to save time.

What we fail to realize is that not all quick and simple meals made on the fly to save time are bad choices. I’ll touch on this a little bit later in the article. But for now, how can you better manage your precious time and put yourself in the position to stay on track with your health and fitness goals?

Save Time Through Meal Prep

save time

Ah, yes! Those two glorious words that we either have come to love or hate. You might dread prepping your food for the week, but in all honesty, in the end, it does save time.

For instance, if you grocery shopped and prepared your meals for the week all in one day, you have nothing to worry about for the rest of the week. You simply grab your meal from the refrigerator, and you’re good to go. There is no, “What should I make for dinner… I have nothing here to eat…” And then when you finally figure out what you want, 15 minutes have passed and you don’t have a meal sitting in front of you or have even started preparing it. Stop the madness!

Save time by meal prepping and allowing yourself to be more productive during the week and more efficient with your time. Put your prepped meals in Tupperware containers so they are ready to go each morning before work and ready the second you get home from the office. Trust me, once you get used to doing all of this in one single day, you’ll thank me for helping you save time and reduce frustration levels.

What If You Are in A Pinch Without a Prepared Meal?

While I prefer to eat whole food options as often as I can, I also rely on supplements to “supplement” my food intake.  The problem with many supplements is that not many of them have all of the macronutrients as well as micronutrients that we would be looking for from a real, whole food meal.  That’s where Clean Meal comes in.  We understand that a calorie truly isn’t a calorie when you factor in the source.  Therefore, it’s imperative that we utilize products that fit our needs and wants to fuel our active lifestyles.

What would you normally look for in your real food meals?  Healthy carbohydrates coming from fruits and vegetables?  A high-quality protein source?  Healthy fats?  Clean Meal actually contains all of the above.  In fact, you’re getting 11 fruits and vegetables along with 20 grams of whey protein isolate to make this the ultimate meal replacement to supplement your nutrition.

Don’t stress out and raise your cortisol levels when you’re in a pinch or when you’re looking for something to hold you over in-between meals.  Save time and effort and use a quality meal replacement like Clean Meal.  Just scoop, mix, and drink.
