Hotter Than a Utah Summer: Aubrie Ann Faxon Interview

In a state known for its hot summers, this chick is no different. The stunningly gorgeous Aubrie Ann Faxon was born in Ogden, UT and grew up in a small town in Southern Utah. She currently lives in Ogden once again. She started training at the age of 15 due to low self-esteem. Aubrie fell in love with the weight room and spent the time that most people used to hang out with friends, in with the dumbbells and cables. It wasn’t until 17 that she started her first show prep, placing 6th. Her second show, two years later she placed 2nd. Aubrie Ann Faxon has not competed since that time but quickly found modeling, networking, inspiring and training were what she loved more. Modeling lets her open up and even pretend she’s someone more exotic. She can also bring to the camera some more of herself rather than just “fitness.” Aubrie mentioned that she may compete again, but isn’t sure exactly when that will be. She may just keep it a surprise. But until then, bring on the cameras!

Aubrie Ann Faxon Under Pressure

Every girl wants to feel pretty and Aubrie Ann Faxon saw many magazines with gorgeous girls that seemed so happy and confident. Of course, that’s not always the case as everyone has insecurities. The first shoots she did were stiff, not knowing how to move her body or what faces she was making, but Aubrie had fun and it was a goal of hers to get better — which she feels she has greatly improved.

Thinking everyone is happy with themselves, and the pressure that comes with people thinking you ALWAYS look perfect is what she claims is the hardest thing about being in the fitness industry. She found out quickly that the truth is, it’s exactly NOT that. We all have our ups and downs, not just with our bodies but with our own self-image and she hopes to bring awareness to this along with a knowing that it’s OK to feel that way from time to time.

Personal Training Business

Aubrie Ann Faxon also owns her own personal training business — Doubt Your Limits. Doubt Your Limits was started a year ago, although she’s been training on the side before then. She had a dream of making her training on the side much larger and did so by deciding to open this business. By networking and talking to other people at the gym and through working at a chiropractic office she was able to build up her clientele for her business. Aubrie hopes to work hard enough on it that one day someone will be willing to buy it and make it into something even larger. Personal training is quite competitive but with some extra research and testing her own training style she’s looking to make a big push in her own style that becomes well known. Currently, Faxon has 15 clients between online and out of her home studio (where her business is located).  Aubrie Ann Faxon expects to have her clientele grow tremendously now that she’s no longer working a day job.

Personal training can be difficult at times and she recently went through an instance where she didn’t want to train herself due to the fact that she was ALWAYS motivating and helping other people. Aubrie did indeed then find her “mojo” again though! Professionally it’s a lot of fun, she gets to help people realize the potential they have as well as the fact that although they don’t like what they see in the mirror, they are no less of a person than any of the people they envy.

Aubrie Ann Faxon keeps her clients motivated with high energy. She always tries to rub off on them, especially if they’re feeling down that day by always staying upbeat and positive.

Getting Sponsored

Faxon is one of the few privileged athletes to be working with one of the largest online supplement retailers in the world where she is a sponsored athlete — Bodybuilding.com. Aubrie Ann Faxon worked a couple of events for Bodybuilding.com somewhat as test runs and ended up getting a call that thrilled her. Since she first signed up for BodySpace in 2007, she has wanted to be sponsored by them. She envisioned being one of their athletes in her mind and made it happen.

What’s Ahead for Aubrie Ann Faxon?

In 10 years Aubrie’s hoping to have slowed down a bit and be able to focus on her family. She knows that doesn’t seem like a lot of time, but Doubt Your Limits should be far off the ground by that time and her goal for that is to be making residual income and working simply as a manager or something close to. Faxon’s hoping to be traveling with her dog, husband, and friends (Danny and Nate).  She also hopes to have an inspirational book published within the next few years. Aubrie Ann Faxon mentions that the sky is the limit for her future.

When asked if there was anyone she would like to thank her response was, “This is honest: Danny Fittro. He was my first ever photoshoot and we got on Oxygen.com. He was always a great friend and I felt honored to be involved in everything he’s worked so hard for. I’d also like to thank my husband Matt (CockDiesel Photo) for always traveling with me, putting up with my terrible attitude towards chicken and loving me the whole time. Obviously all of those great people out there that cheer me on and help motivate me by sending messages and asking questions help as well.”
