Gun Violence in USA — Criminals Don’t Care About Your Gun Ban
When it comes to gun violence in USA, it seems like the majority of people are merely listening to the talking points on the news and those from the left who have an agenda to remove guns from the hands of law-abiding citizens. They push for more restrictive gun laws and a gun ban as if by simply adding another piece of legislation into the fold regarding guns that it’s going to fix the issues we hear about on the news.
Spoiler alert: IT WON’T CHANGE ANYTHING. IF ANYTHING, IT MAY GET WORSE!
Here’s the truth… There is nothing you can do to “punish” gun owners that will stop crime and murder. The media and the left want to play with your feelings and only provide you with the information necessary to sway your emotions because they know most people will not go do their own homework — which is part of the problem.
Gun violence in USA and a gun ban are really separate conversations, but we’ll try to knock them both out in one article and have a little discussion.

What is a Gun Ban?
A gun ban refers to a government policy or legal restriction that prohibits or severely limits the possession, sale, or use of firearms within a specific jurisdiction. The ban can vary in scope and strictness, ranging from a complete prohibition on civilian ownership of firearms to more targeted restrictions on certain types of firearms, ammunition, or specific categories of individuals who are prohibited from owning guns, such as convicted felons or individuals with a history of domestic violence.
Gun bans are often enacted in an effort to reduce gun-related violence, crime, and accidents. Proponents of gun bans argue that stricter regulations can help prevent the misuse of firearms, particularly by individuals with criminal intentions or mental health issues. They believe that limiting access to firearms can lead to safer communities and fewer incidents of gun violence.
Opponents of gun bans, on the other hand, often emphasize the importance of individual rights, particularly the right to bear arms as guaranteed by the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution. They argue that responsible gun ownership should not be restricted due to the actions of a few individuals, and that such bans might infringe upon citizens’ ability to defend themselves, their families, and their property.
Gun bans can be a highly contentious and debated topic, as they involve considerations of public safety, individual rights, and societal values. The approach taken by different countries and jurisdictions can vary significantly, with some places implementing strict bans while others adopt more permissive gun control measures.
Gun Violence in USA and Areas with a Gun Ban
Look at the areas that we see on the news being reported about the insane number of gun deaths — New York and Chicago. You can’t turn on any news channel without hearing about gun violence in USA and in these two areas.
But did you know that both New York and Chicago have some of the strictest gun laws in the nation? Explain to me how a gun ban in these areas is working out. Most of these murders are gang-related, drug-related, and in areas scraping the poverty line.

By all means, I encourage you to look at the gun laws and specific gun ban that is in place in New York and Chicago. Understanding what’s already in place, how can you look at gun violence in USA and think we have a gun problem and not a gang-related, drug-related, mental health, and socioeconomic issue? A gun ban won’t help any of those, yet THEY are directly tied to gun violence in USA.
Firearms are a tool used in both murders and suicide — there’s no debating that fact. But let’s just say there was a gun ban that eliminated every single firearm in existence. We pushed a button, and they all disappeared. What do you think would happen? Do you think murder rates would drop? Do you think suicide rates would drop? No. A firearm is a tool. If that tool disappears, people will reach for a knife, bat, rope, or whatever object is nearby and in reach. A gun ban literally solves nothing, while disarming law-abiding citizens who have done nothing wrong.
Criminals Want Easy Targets — Which is Why a Gun Ban Won’t Work
When you break down all the recent tragedies that have happened in the last few months and years, do you notice a theme? The theme is that these acts of terror are all in places where there are strict gun laws, a gun ban, or is considered a gun-free zone.
I’ve already published content about gun-free zones and how they don’t work. In fact, they put every person in the area at risk because criminals know they can do whatever they want, and as long as they have a firearm, nothing should be shooting back their way until the cops show up — giving them more than enough time rob everyone around them or cause mass casualties. It’s a matter of time and math. How many people can they shoot in a given timeframe before the police arrive?

A limit on magazine capacity, the type of firearm, etc., means nothing and changes nothing. It takes seconds to reload a weapon regardless of magazine capacity, and a firearm will shoot as quickly as you can pull the trigger.
A better question that should be asked is if the average response time of police is 11 minutes, can you survive that long without having a firearm for protection? There are no timeouts in life. You can’t ask the criminal not to shoot you because you called 911, and the police are 11 minutes out. It doesn’t work that way. When your life is in danger, you need the necessary tools to survive RIGHT NOW. That tool is a gun.
You don’t bring a knife to a gunfight. And you can’t get into a gunfight without a gun to save your life. What that’s called is a shooting. There is no gunfight as that would mean you’d have to be shooting back, and without a gun, you’re defenseless against an attacker with a gun. The odds are forever against you when someone has a firearm, and all you have is the lint in your pockets.
Criminals don’t care about your gun ban. They don’t care about gun violence in USA. All they care about is doing what they want, which generally involves breaking the law. That’s why they’re criminals.

You can put out your gun ban, and criminals will still get guns from the street and the black market. You’re naïve and foolish to think that criminals will willingly hand in their firearms like good citizens if a gun ban is implemented. That’s a bunch of nonsense.
Enforcing a nationwide gun ban would be like making the entire US a gun-free zone. And we all know what happens in gun-free zones.
And we haven’t even gotten into our right to bear arms. It’s directly in the 2nd Amendment. That’s a whole topic that deserves its own piece of content. How can firearms be taken away from law-abiding citizens when we all that the right to bear arms and that it shall not be infringed per our 2nd Amendment right?

The Media Only Tells You What They Want You to Hear Regarding Gun Violence in USA
More times than you can imagine, a good guy with a gun stops a bad guy with a gun. The only difference is that the media brushes it under the rug with a blanket statement saying the gunman was killed or similar. They won’t tell you that the armed robber that broke into someone’s house was shot and killed by that homeowner. Why? Because it defeats their narrative.
They want to take away your guns with a gun ban. Why would they show proof that not only do you need a gun, but others just like you have defended their lives with it?
If you look at the Indiana mall shooting, you have media calling the man who saved lives a criminal for carrying a gun at the mall. Indiana has a constitutional carry law that allows law-abiding citizens the right to carry a firearm without a permit or license. And while the mall had a “no gun policy,” the hero did not break any laws. The mall could have asked him to leave if they knew he had a firearm, but he couldn’t be arrested as he wasn’t breaking the law.
When it comes down to it, any store you go into that has a “gun-free policy” is nothing more than their opinion. If they see your firearm, the cops could get called. But if they ask you to leave and you do, you can’t be arrested. If you decide not to go, you could be arrested for trespassing, but not because you were legally armed.
Now, I’m not telling you to go carry a firearm in a “gun-free zone,” only you can make the decision for yourself. Personally, I’m carrying everywhere. It’s my right, and I’m responsible for my own protection, the protection of my family, and the protection of the innocent around me. Say what you want, I plan to go home to my family every night, and I refuse to be a victim because you don’t want me to carry a gun due to your “feelings.”
My rights don’t end where your feelings begin.
Likewise, if you carry a firearm on your person as part of your EDC, you should absolutely have medical on you as well and be proficient with a firearm by getting firearms training. You need to be proficient in your shooting skills as well as your medical. And let’s be real, you’re more likely to need to pull out medical equipment than you’ll ever need to pull out a firearm.

What I want you to truly do is to do your own homework. Find information from all sides and form your own opinion.
And if you’re someone who has never shot a firearm before, I urge you to go out and try it. Go to a training class. Go to a shooting range. We often oppose things that seem scary to us or that we don’t fully understand or know how to use. It can be intimidating, I get it. But you may change your mind about gun violence in USA and the potential for a gun ban when you are around firearms more and get educated on the discussion.
What About Personal Accountability?
In closing, I want you to think about something.
The biggest problem is that we are blaming objects today. What happens when you hear someone killed another individual because they were operating a vehicle while drunk? That person goes to jail, right? After all, it’s their fault.
If someone were to take a Bic lighter and set a home on fire with people in it, the person who set the house ablaze is at fault, right? Of course. They set the house on fire.
Know what’s funny, I could sit a firearm on a table, and it would never go off unless a force acted upon the trigger and pushed it to the rear, causing the firearm to go off.
A gun ban won’t fix anything. Guns don’t shoot all by themselves unless someone pulls the trigger. And guns don’t aim themselves. There is no heat-seeking device on them where you pull the trigger, and the bullet automatically finds a body to enter, which is driving up gun violence in USA. Someone needs to consciously aim the firearm and deliberately pull the trigger. It’s their actions and their accountability. But we’re blaming an object?
Today, we want to blame the gun as being the problem. We are blaming an object. Seriously? Does that make any sense? There is no personal accountability anymore, it’s the gun’s fault, and that’s why we need a gun ban, right? I mean, go read that again. It’s stupidity at its finest.
Why is it in the earlier examples no one is blaming the car manufacturer for hitting a person or another car that caused a death? Why is no one suing or banning Bic lighters for starting fires that kill people? Does what I’m saying make any sense to you? A gun ban will do nothing because it’s PEOPLE who use objects to do bad things. It’s not the object’s fault.
So, I ask you. What’s the real reason the government and politicians want to take away guns? Why are they the focus when we know for a fact that there are more deaths and murders due to hands, feet, and knives than there are from something like rifles? Why is there such a push for a gun ban? Is it REALLY to protect lives? Or is this more about control? It’s time we start thinking freely versus listening to the noise that the media and government are trying to put in our heads.
