Back in December 2022, I was introduced to a bunch of great guys at a FISH Class I took through Garry Marr at Tremis Dynamics. One such guy was Mike Fiore, who is not only an instructor with Tremis Dynamics but the new owner and founder of Bulletn.
Not only does Bulletn have the best name for what it is, but the entire model behind why Bulletn was created I found 100% needed in the industry.
As an entrepreneur myself, I’m always fascinated when I learn about how a business was first started with an idea and how it turns into a reality to solve a problem.

Mike is a student of the gun who has a passion for teaching. As someone who fills his calendar with various classes throughout the year to expand his knowledge and skillset, he found a lot of his time was dedicated to searching the internet for classes and then seeing if they jive with his schedule.
I reached out to Mike to find out a little more about the capabilities of Bulletn, and this is what he said:
“Every year, I would pull up the online schedule of one of about 20 schools I was hoping to train with. I’d pencil in all their dates into my personal calendar, hoping they would align with my family’s schedule, my professional work calendar, and my part-time firearms instruction dates. Then I’d do that same process for a dozen or so trainers. Rinse and repeat.
And then, one day, I realized all my friends were doing the same thing. So, I thought to myself… ‘Somebody needs to make something to help simplify this process.’ I figured that ‘somebody’ had to be me.
Bulletn has the capability to bring the firearms, outdoor, self-defense, and other like-minded training communities closer together. Seeing it from both the instructor and student lenses, I saw that there was a common question that both sides of my brain were asking… ‘How do I find them?’
At its core, Bulletn is an easy-to-use searchable list of training events offered around the country — free to use for both students and trainers. But the vision is to turn it into a virtual home for all who wish to share knowledge.”

Bulletn is THE Place to Go When Searching for Training
It’s essentially a bulletin board (only in the form of a website) for the gun community!
If you’re like me, you value your time, and I hate having to search for hours to lay out a plan for classes I want to take throughout the year. I’d jump on various websites to see what classes are available from instructors I want to learn from and then need to lay it all out. With Bulletn, the entire process is simplified.
As an example, if I wanted to see what classes are in my area, on the homepage is a section that allows you a place to enter your zip code. Now, remember when I said it’s a pain to go through all the classes on various websites just to see what I want to attend? After entering my zip code, the results showed 133 results.

Granted, at the time of writing this article, Bulletn was just launched, and it had already provided me with over 100 classes to choose from. I expect the results to increase dramatically as more instructors learn about all Bulletn offers.
Within the results page, you will find information for each class, such as:
- What the class is (pistol, rifle, carbine, shotgun, medical, EDC, CQB, hand-to-hand, etc.)
- Where the class is being held
- What level the class is
- The date(s) of the class
- The fee
- Round count (how much ammo you need to bring)
Clicking on one or the results will provide you with the following:
- Who is putting the class on
- A detailed explanation of what the class entails
- A map of where the class is located
- Prerequisites
- A gear list of what you’ll need to bring
- A place where you can click to register for the class
Before Bulletn, this process was tiresome. In fact, it could cause some people to be overwhelmed and stop looking — ultimately, not getting the training they want and need. Bulletn solves this issue.
Bulletn truly allows students from across the United States the ability to (in one location) find out what classes are available around their area to quickly and conveniently sign up to participate. The site allows students to pick classes according to their goals, skill level, budget, and availability.
Additionally, on the results page of your search, you can fine-tune your search by expanding how far you’re willing to travel, you can search for specific instructors, sort by state, sort by classes specific to your skill level, sort by type of class, and more.
Honestly, Bulletn is incredibly well-thought-out, and Mike has only just scratched the surface of what he has planned for the website.
